We are facing worst of democratic form of governance where quantity over-rules quality in vote-bank politics. Reservation is a failed policy in itself when it had to be continued beyond stipulated 15 years in the Constitution. Agitating medicos rightly suggested that reservation should be at root-level of nursery-admissions compelling even super-costly public-schools to adopt the policy by providing free education to those admitted in reserved category. Government should put at least some onus on persons/families of reserved categories to avail benefits of reservation. Benefits of reservation in any field or sector should be only for families/persons of reserved categories with small families of upto two children.

KAPIL SIBAL BE SACKED OR REWARDED?

It refers to Sharad Yadav demanding sack of Union Minister Kapil Sibal from the cabinet for being bold to oppose reservation in higher studies. Is it a sin to express free and bold views in an unholy era of appeasing select group of voters for vote-bank politics? Rather politicians provoking voters from reserved categories and others should be booked for their deeds to separate people on basis of cast or religion. Political rulers are befooling people from reserved categories by announcing decisions without any sincerity and full awareness of such decisions’ ultimate fate of being struck down by courts.

Rather nation needs bold politicians like Kapil Sibal who prefer national interest instead of vote-bank politics.
