Today we fight.

By Anonymous at Sat, 2006-05-27 00:00 | General | Reservation

Under the aegis of Youth for Equality a huge rally is planned in Delhi on 27th May protesting against the impending division of the country along caste lines.

Titled 'DELHI AAO, DESH BACHAO', this is a call to all concerned people of the country to come together and fight for what we believe to be right.

To all our countrymen who fought for freedom and equality, in our glorious struggle for independence, and to all those who laid down their lives protecting our borders, today we pay our homage.

Let us stand together and speak in one voice - we won't back down, we won't give up, we won't stop, this time we fight back, and we fight with all our might.

If today we don't stand our ground, there will be no stopping the government from unleashing more populist measures which have the potential to do great harm to our country.

If you are concerned and you believe that what the government is doing vis-a-vis reservations in educational institutes is wrong, do join in. Find more details about the event here.

everybody knows that to make our voice heard by whole country n the parliament we should maximize our strength in the capital i.e. delhi, its good to see that huge rally is called in delhi on 27thMAY n everybody who thinks that this current reservation policy by the govt. is unethical is invited to join the rally.
However i strongly recommend u that to make the rally a huge success n to make a solid impact u should announce the rally publically well in advance so that there is time for everyone to prepare themselves for being present in the rally from various parts of country.

Reservation or vote purchase

Politics is what it is. English ruled India with DIVIDE AND RULE our great politicians with their tainted minds are doing the same. Most of our politicians are rich like Lords of England and have become traditional generation wise rulers. So there is no reason why they should not DIVIDE AND RULE and enslave the whole population of this great nation.
The youth is the greatest sufferer of all political changes after the women and children. YOUTH MUST THERFORE WAKEUP and by taking an oath to route out all these POLITICAL PARTIES RUN BY NATION DIVIDERS.
We want progress and we want peace. The backward classes have their traditional trades I mean professions but what about the upper class Each generation of upper class has to search for profession.
No body needs reservation but all need scope for work. An open environment to breath. The throat choking Red tape must be cut and thrown away. The open corruption in almost all government offices must be routed out. The guilty must be punished and socially byecotted.

RESERVATION SEATS ON CASAT BASIS
Best Solution

In my opinion the politician will apply this reservation. but there is one solution:

1. All Institutions should be divided into two
a. for quota people
b. for non quota people no reservation in it

2. These Institution should admit candidates of as per reservation done by Govt. for different cast and only quota people will apply in these institutions.
3. Govt. of India have the choice to develop these institution Q according to will
4. Politicians have the choice to reserve seats to any cast at any time.
5. Politicians have a place to have better treatment in these hospitals Q from the people of their own cast.
6. Govt. can ask people of this country to open more institutions Q in private
7. The Candidates are free from Inferiority Complex
8. The people passed out from these places have their own individuality.

By Rajashri (not verified) on Sat, 2006-05-27 16:23

As a citizen of india in the constitution it has been clearly sated that there will be no discrimination by way of age , sex , class etc .
Is this fundamental right of mine being violated by resrvation ? YES !
is there anyway that i could challege this violation of my fundmental right .
why am i being penalised for actions not of my doing but that of a century ago ?
if my fundamental rights as enshrined in the constitution are being violated should i feel proud of being part of the worlds largest democarcy?
shouldnt we youth be asking ourselves these questions ?
